PortStar's Tikvah Soledad THDN, CGC, TKN - "Tiki"
Born April 13, 2015
Pictures of Tiki from birth until now. She has grown up so fast.
Tiki's Pedigree.
Tiki's Pedigree.
Tiki's first swim in the lake. She is the first one into the water. Tiki swimming.
Tiki is an incredible part of our family. She loves to work - whether it is obedience, hunting, or fun around the farm. Her desire to work makes her training easier. She can be creative when the situation presents itself. After all, she is a Toller.
As of January of 2020, Tiki and I achieved a couple of titles. Our favorite one is Therapy Dog Novice.
On March 28, 2020, Tiki had a litter of 5 puppies. Pictures of the puppies are on the Bond and Tiki page. I have been adding updated pictures of the puppies. All were updated on their birthdays. All are in wonderful homes and are very, very loved!
When Gabe was with us, Tiki was so good with him. She would help him find his bumper, if he missed seeing it fall, when we were playing in the yard, and she would look after him, making sure that he was okay.
Tiki loves playing with Asher. She was gentle with Gabe and saved her energy for Asher.
Tiki is doing very well in upland training. We are looking forward to more fun in the sun. She loves flying into the pool!
June 2023 - Pool time and upland training. Tiki is a lot of fun. She remains active and busy. Her upland skills are great! She finds the birds, flushes them, and retrieves them. She isn't steady but she is very good. At home, she loves running in the yard and swimming in the pool.
September 2023 - Summer goes by too fast. We have had a fun summer taking walks, swimming, training, playing, and resting together.
October 2023 - Tiki has finished upland hunting training for this year. We are having fun playing together. The flying squirrel toys have been fun for all of us to work with. Until this year, Tiki and Asher have mostly run after and retrieved them. This fall they decided that trying to catch them while they are in the air is something even more fun. It has been really fun to see Tiki stretch up and try to catch the toy. She is having a lot of fun with this and scolds us when we don't quite get the toy to fly well.
There are songs that remind me of my dogs and their personalities. Tiki's song is "Catch Another Butterfly" from John Denver's "Rhymes and Reasons" album.
